Almost mythical in nature, the Watch is the inverse of the Pact. According to urban legend, the Watch pulls the strings of society in ways we don’t even understand. They’re what most people think of when they hear the word illuminati, holding the world together with a quiet, guiding hand.
The Watch is rumored to be split into multiple tiers, namely the first through fourth, after the pattern of the Romans. Each Watch is said to operate differently, but thus far I haven’t been able to tell what any of them do, or if they exist at all. Frankly, despite the Nightwalk Society’s best efforts, we have no proof that the Watch is even real. Some don’t believe in it, others say it’s an exaggeration of what the original Nightwalk Society became. Do I think they’re real?
Absolutely. And I’m going to find them.
